On Sunday, 24th November, Magic Mountain celebrated the Park’s 30th Birthday. Toos and Graham Mayberry, who were two of the original owners of Magic Mountain returned to the Park to celebrate with the current owners: Rob and Ann Wright, Ros and Murray Beveridge and Elaine and Kevin Philistin.
The mood of the day was jubilant. Visitors enjoyed half price unlimited ride passes, Rhys the Magician, and a Lolly Scramble.
The Rides stopped for 15 minutes whilst visitors, staff and owners sang “Happy Birthday” and cut the metre long chocolate Birthday Cake. Murray Beveridge spoke of the Park’s success as an Award Winning Tourist Attraction and praised the staff for their hard work, dedication and commitment to ensuring visitors have a fun, safe, and value packed tourist experience at Magic Mountain year after year. From the 27th of November, Magic Mountain will be open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm.
Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Magic Mountain who made my and my family’s trip there today so wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, their patience was (or at least appeared) bottomless and they were soooo friendly!! My husband and I have been bringing our family to Merimbula every September for four years and today was our first visit – I”m kicking myself for not visiting sooner and the entire family are already looking forward to our next visit (my husband and I will have fantastic leverage over our kids for a whole 12 months!!) to all of the staff, our sincerest thanks for enabling us to have a brilliant family day in a very safe, friendly family environment. You’ve all made our annual visit to Merimbula that much more special 😀 kindest regards The Preston family. Visited September 2013.
A fantastic day out for our young family – enough quality rides to past a full day out with our six year-old and four-year-old desperate for more. Friendly and attentive staff using common sense about what our kids can and can’t do, and definitely good value for money with enough other families to be busy, but still not having to join long queues for each ride. We loved the way the rides fitted in so well to the natural bush environment. No loud, whizzing horrendous noises, we even saw a few kangaroos hop by while on the toboggan. Overall a brilliant day out. Trip Advisor. KJT155. Melbourne, Australia. April 2013.
